At Cornelius Vermuyden School, Canvey Island, the development will include over 70% new building to create a 900 place school for 11-16 year olds.

The future Cornelius Vermuyden School will inspire and motivate pupils to learn and bring out the very best in all; be sustainable and part of the natural environment yet use the latest technology for learning. Given the size of our site we should be able to achieve this transformation with minimum disruption to our current pupils.
