Introduction
The Bromfords School is located in Wickford, where just over half of its students live. A significant minority of students live in nearby Basildon. The sixth form is smaller than average. In 1996 they were awarded Specialist School status as a Technology College. A number of students are drawn from a wide variety of minority ethnic groups, including a small number of students from the Traveller communities. There are small numbers of looked after children and no students at an early stage of learning English. |
